Making Spirits Bright is a gospel/jazz album with 10 musical selections. It’s perfect for that time when all the shopping is done and all the lights are hung, and the presents are sitting under the tree. You nestle next to the fireplace, with cup of hot cocoa and a relaxing moment reflecting on Christmas’ long ago and Christmas’ to come. Its mellow tones will transport you to the past while anticipating the joys of the coming season.
 
This studio produced album is all about family, fun and tradition. And if you liked my first studio produced album, “In the Garden, Songs to My Mother” you will love “Making Spirits Bright”, with timeless songs like “O Holy Night”, “Silent Night” and “The Christmas Song” just to name a few. There are 2 originals songs on this project as well. The phenomenal musicianship of the players on this album are showcased with the amazing talents of Mr. Ken Kehner on the piano, Kevin Hennessy on bass. And last but certainly not least Ray Lee on drums. I call him “The Reverend”. It was such a treat to work with these talented musicians. My sister, Patreece Reece and professional vocalist, Ms. Katrina Reece (who is also my niece) are cameoed on this project making a trio on “O’ Come All Ye Faithful” And offer beautiful fun surprise on “Jingle Bells”.
